I’m a Catholic writer exploring what it means to remain fully human in an age that increasingly treats humanity as something to optimize, redesign, or escape. Through my books, Choosing Human newsletter, and podcast Brave New Us, I write about faith, family, technology, and the future of the human person—from artificial intelligence and biotechnology to motherhood, embodiment, and the daily work of building a home. The biggest questions about the future aren’t just happening in labs or policy debates. They’re unfolding in our kitchens, our bodies, our relationships, and our understanding of what a human being is for. At home, I’m a homeschooling mother of four, learning (imperfectly) to live what I write: growing food, keeping rhythms, and building a life that is a little more grounded, embodied, and real.
