About the Course Instructor

Dr. Cynthia Toolin-Wilson is the Chief Academic Officer, as well as an online Professor of Dogmatic and Moral Theology, at Holy Apostles College and Seminary. She also hosts WCAT Radio’s Author to Author, a program in which she interviews Catholic authors to assist Catholic readers in identifying orthodox Catholic content. She is the author herself of two books entitled The Story of Holy Apostles and Survivor: A Memoir of Forgiveness.

Dr. Toolin-Wilson’s doctorate is in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. After she converted to Catholicism in 1988, she earned a 90-credit M.A. in Theology from Holy Apostles, and a Licentiate from Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C. She has been associated with Holy Apostles for 32 years, 25 of which have been as an administrator and professor. She has been involved in the academic formation of well over 200 priests and hundreds of lay people and religious.
